木口小平兵士

This was an indoor training ground of Hamada 21st Infantry Regiment. There were few old regimental facilities left. This facility was designed and built as a training facility for soldiers. The latest Western architectural technique was used to build this facility. It was built of bricks with steel frame roof truss. This was the first facility in Japan that was built with this method of architectural technique, so it is a very valuable building in modern architectural history.
